Why Nottingham electricians choose these courses

You stay earning

A classroom course can cost you a week of paid work. Do the theory round your jobs and you only lose the days you spend in Derby.

The regs have moved

BS 7671 has been updated by Amendment 4. Customers and scheme assessors expect you to be current. The 18th Edition gets you there.

Landlord work needs the 2391

Rented homes in England need an electrical safety check at least every five years. The 2391 is what lets you carry them out and sign them off.

Training a team in Nottingham?

Contractors, facilities teams and housing providers book groups with us. Your people do the theory without leaving site, then come to Derby together.

  • Pay on invoice. Send us your purchase order number and we raise the invoice against it. One PO can cover several bookings.
  • Or pay by card for the whole team at once, in full or in three with Klarna.
  • Book now, name people later. You will not always know in October who is free in November.
  • Nobody starts until you say so. Stagger people across a rota instead of losing the whole team in one week.
  • Everyone gets their own login and their own record. Ask us whenever you want to know where your people are up to.

Questions from Nottingham learners

Anything else? Ring 0800 197 9826.

Do I have to come to Derby?

Yes. The theory is online, but the classroom and practical are in Derby and you are assessed there in person. That is the part that earns the qualification.

Which one should I do first?

Most qualified electricians start with the 18th Edition, then the 2391. If you have not worked with electrics before, PAT Testing or Safe Isolation are the better first step. Tell us what you do and we will say which one fits, even if the answer is none of them.

Will this make me an electrician?

No. These are short courses for people already working with electrics, or who want one specific skill. Becoming an electrician from scratch takes a full diploma or an apprenticeship.

Can I do it round shifts?

That is what it is built for. The online part is yours to work through whenever you like, and you choose your own date in Derby.

What if I need to move my date?

Give us seven days' notice and we will move it.

Can my boss book several of us?

Yes. Send a team enquiry and we will come back with dates and one quote.

Start tonight. Finish in Derby.

These are the electrical courses Nottingham electricians ask for most. Pick one, work through the theory at your own speed, and book your classroom and practical when you are ready.
