Is there a training centre in Leicester?
We have a Leicester office at 17 Wellington Street, but no training there. The classroom and practical days are all in Derby.
How do I get to Derby from Leicester?
Direct trains between the two city centres, then a short walk from Derby station. By car it is the M1 and A52, or the A6 through Loughborough.
Do I need to be an electrician already?
Not for all of them. PAT Testing and Safe Isolation need no experience, and the 18th Edition is open to any level. The 2391, EV and Solar PV are for qualified electricians.
What is the difference between the 18th Edition and the 2391?
The 18th Edition is the regulations themselves. The 2391 teaches you to inspect, test and certify work against them. Most people do the 18th Edition first.
